First and foremost the host was very hospital and warm. He invited us to Christmas dinner and it makes us so happy. It made our travel experience unforgettable. The view was amazing. Rooms are clean and cozy.

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night and we wanted to stay more. Unfortunately due to our schedule that was not possible but it was such an amazing stay. The staff were super friendly, dinner was amazing and the view is just insane. Highly recommend

I honestly could not recommend this place enough. Everything I needed was provided for. There was an Asian based restaurant and a private bay for you to jump into Lake Lucerne. The breakfast was expected by European standards. The bathroom may be a little outdated in style but everything looks so clean and brand new. It is very well kept. I had the fluffiest towels ever. The shower was super hot and consistent. And my room on the top floor was large. There was no elevator so you do need to carry your luggage upstairs. But the room with those views. The pictures I took don't do it justice. But the highlight was the staff. They treated you like family. I honestly did not want to leave.

    A lovely place, if a little quiet when we were there, access to the mountains and to the link.. Well worth a visit and you must go to the top of the mountain the village sits at the bottom of and onto the lake that borders the village

    This is a great hotel to get away from the hubbub of...

    This is a great hotel to get away from the hubbub of everyday life. Excellent views, choice of walks, close to the cog train to Mt Rigi as well as the ferry service. Ronnie and Bruno, both of whom run the in-house restaurant, are friendly, charming and entertaining. Both speak English well. Fully recommended.

    Amazing setting on mountain top, views spectacular from the outdoor terrace, where you can have dinner and breakfast, both great. A memorable experience to be staying up high, if you want to try something different from a hotel in a town etc. It is easily reached by either of two cable cars, and once you are up there are great walks to explore Mt Rigi. Most of all, the hosts were really welcoming and helpful.

    Great place to stay! Beautiful view from our room. Balcony, swimming pool, great food. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Polish women who gave us many useful advices and tips. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

    Manuela & Ruedi are so friendly and thoughtful. The flat is pretty comfortable with everything you need., and Gersau is a quiet little town nearby Mt. Rigi and Stoos. Highly recommended.
