The accommodation was great all.facilities right on the lakeside watching the paddle boats coming and going really some thing else. The Chinese family were exceptional hosts and I even learned some Chinese words. The housekeeper Yanny I think.her name made.sure my room was stocked and in excellent order. They really went out their way to make me welcome. The location was one of the best on lake lucerne. I was impressed by their hospitality.

I came across the Hostel by accident in booking. com and i didn’t know what to expect but i left with such a wonderful experience . The place was magical like a fairytale with a wonderful view from the lake and the mountains , the words are not enough to describe it , one must see it itself. The location was very practical near the bus station which also takes you to the main station in case you want to go to the city ,i went there with my little brother , very kid friendly and the place its in such away arranget that welcomes every group age . As for the stuff also the best impression very kind and helpful in every moment and always giving tips and answering our questions and trying to be as helpful as possible. I can’t wait to go back again and enjoy the nature and the peaceful atmosphere. I totally recommend it 😇😇.

This is a proper luxury hotel. We arrived by car and appreciated the roomy parking. The location is no less than excellent, just by the water and if you bring kids, know that there's a big playground very close to the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and staff was very friendly.

I’m used to traveling the world and staying in 5-star hotels, but I have to say — the level of service here was on a whole different level. I’ve never experienced anything like it before. Everything was flawless, and the attention to detail was simply mind-blowing. We were unexpectedly upgraded to a Corner Suite with a stunning lake view for our honeymoon, which was such a lovely surprise! The handwritten congratulatory note, signed by every member of the staff, was a truly brilliant and unique touch. We kept that letter as a souvenir Thanks for making this stay memorable

    I cannot find any negative aspects of the stay here. I appreciated the easy access with public transportation to the next small village (4 km) to have a pizza. And came back on the bus as well. 508 bus.

    It gives the real feeling of a Swiss village , the cleanliness, the bus services , they have a tourist centre to help, the lake itself is biggest attraction, local people are very friendly and helpful

    A lovely place, if a little quiet when we were there, access...

    A lovely place, if a little quiet when we were there, access to the mountains and to the link.. Well worth a visit and you must go to the top of the mountain the village sits at the bottom of and onto the lake that borders the village

    This is a great hotel to get away from the hubbub of...

    This is a great hotel to get away from the hubbub of everyday life. Excellent views, choice of walks, close to the cog train to Mt Rigi as well as the ferry service. Ronnie and Bruno, both of whom run the in-house restaurant, are friendly, charming and entertaining. Both speak English well. Fully recommended.

    Beautiful location right by the very clean waters of the lake, surrounded by mountains. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, sunny balconies with parasols and comfy chairs. Breakfast had a good choice . The small town Gersau is very attractive, clean, with pretty houses. We added a 3rd night, would have happily stayed longer. The weather was beautiful too.There is a large dining balcony right over the water to enjoy the large boats crossing the lake. Many Boat and mountain excursions with reliable timetables are available nearby.

    It was a nice place to stay. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was an average continental breakfast. The road up to the hotel is an experience, a single track road up a mountain with hairpin bends. But dont let that put you off it was fun. You can walk into the town in 20 minutes

    We were able to park immediately outside the hotel. Check in was easy and the room was exactly as described. We had an excellent meal in the restaurant and a great breakfast. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

    Manuela & Ruedi are so friendly and thoughtful. The flat is pretty comfortable with everything you need., and Gersau is a quiet little town nearby Mt. Rigi and Stoos. Highly recommended.
