    A lovely place, if a little quiet when we were there, access to the mountains and to the link.. Well worth a visit and you must go to the top of the mountain the village sits at the bottom of and onto the lake that borders the village

    This is a great hotel to get away from the hubbub of...

    This is a great hotel to get away from the hubbub of everyday life. Excellent views, choice of walks, close to the cog train to Mt Rigi as well as the ferry service. Ronnie and Bruno, both of whom run the in-house restaurant, are friendly, charming and entertaining. Both speak English well. Fully recommended.

    Beautiful location right by the very clean waters of the lake, surrounded by mountains. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, sunny balconies with parasols and comfy chairs. Breakfast had a good choice . The small town Gersau is very attractive, clean, with pretty houses. We added a 3rd night, would have happily stayed longer. The weather was beautiful too.There is a large dining balcony right over the water to enjoy the large boats crossing the lake. Many Boat and mountain excursions with reliable timetables are available nearby.

    The location is absolutely fantastic! We were sitting outside by the lake until midnight! We stayed at the chalet, such a nice, romantic room. Just be aware that it is a wooden chalet, so you hear every step. The bathroom was in a lower floor, so, a longer walk at night. The kids stayed in a very big and modern 8-bed room and had a blast! We had a very nice dinner and breakfast at the hotel. We are already planning to make this a yearly get-together spot!!

    The view!! Omg the view was amazing. The room was clean and tidy. The beds are great! Never slept better. The breakfast was great with fresh fruits, the best cheeses, yoghurt, boiled eggs and bread. The location is great just outside the village centre. You can walk to the centre in 15/20 min. And there starts a hiking trail just outside the hotel. Gersau is beautiful.

    Very nice typical small hotel "alpine style" close to the Lake of 4 Cantons". Owners very nice and acconìmodating. Great breakfast! Free parking in front of the structure. I enjoyed my stay a lot!
