Excellent hotel, gorgeous views, food was amazing. Rooms were lovely, we were woken by the beautiful sunrise over the lake Zurich, which was amazing. Train station is across the road, however trains run so quietly that there was no noise at all. Train to city centre is 11min, airport less than 30 min, it made the travel effortless and very pleasant.

A truly delightful experience in a magical location, the hotel has been painstakingly restored in exquisite detail and is an absolute triumph. The owner couldn’t be more helpful, nothing was too much trouble and his Italian heritage reflected in his very personable service. Lovely location! Added bonus of having breakfast included, which was a buffet. Friendly staff and comfy bed! We were provided with an adapter which was much needed after a day of travelling and not realising the adapters are different!

Overall the cuisine quality in this hotel is exceptional with a great location both in terms of lake view, access and also proximity to City. A lovely small park just next to it, if you have a small kid. Facilities in the hotel is very modern, clean and well maintained. One of my top 3 hotels so far , i have been to probably more than 100 hotels. One special shout out to the staff. Service quality in Switzerland even for high end restaurants & hotels can be terrible sometimes. Service staff somehow can be entitled and may act rather rude around the country. So the Swiss hospitality is only a marketing gimmick in many occasions but not for this hotel. Lovely and friendly people. Very relatable and also professional at the same time. 11 over 10...

    The hotel is located in a quiet surroundings with lots of greenery and nature. The views of the Alps remain breathtaking. The building and its immediate surrounding architecture is very pleasant to be around. The staff are incredibly friendly and enormously helpful, as they had been during previous stays.

    I was so surprised by this place! Came here for 1 night with my family Amazing old convent turned into hotel an seminar site, completely refurbished. Beautiful and super comfortable. Recommended.
