When we arrived we're already amazed by the beautiful surroundings. Once inside, we were completely surprised by an upgrade to a lake view room with a bathroom. Little they know that small gesture made a big impact on us. Because this holiday was all about finding some rest after a very rough few months. And this was truly a gift for us and the best start of our holiday ever. Not just because the upgrade, but the surroundings, the spacious room, and the very friendly staff was beyond expectations.

The room was really well designed and thoughtful. the Lake view from the window is amazing. the staff was very helpful and they gave welcome gifts for the kids. We absolutely loved it.

The breakfast was a la carte, and very quick. The surprise call when we were boarding the ferry to inform of the complimentary pick up was wonderful, (I'd somehow missed this option). The walk up through the forest behind the hotel was lovely. Most importantly the room, hotel and spa facilities were incredible.

    Late check-in was seemlessly easy, really enjoyed the automated system in place. Room was super clean, spacious, modern, I liked the touch-control hub for all lights in the room. Only awkward thing, the shower curtain blocks out the bathroom light so you have to shower with it open, and the bathroom window opens on to the road. Otherwise, really great place, exactly what i want out of a work hotel.

    The hotel was very clean. The room was a good size and although our room faced the road we couldn't hear the traffic noise. The staff were polite and friendly and spoke good English. There was a good choice for breakfast and everything was fresh. The timings for breakfast were good ie spread over a few hours.
