Meiringen is a wonderful place for mountain enthusiasts.
Meiringen is a wonderful place for mountain enthusiasts. It is not nearly as touristic as the nearby Interlaken and offers the chance to enjoy nature including Reichenbach falls, glaciers and the Aare Gorge cozily. A perfect escape location with a real Swiss spirit.Guest review byKlimGermany - 10.0

It was a lovely town unfortunately due to the Covid restrictions most shops were close. However Meiringen is centrally located to Interlaken, Lucern, Grimmewald. All within driving distance. Lift is used only for check in and out with luggage, it would be better if it was available at all the time. The hotel is just a stone's away from Meiringen train station.
