The best hotel I stayed in Switzerland which makes my trip enjoyable. Highly recommend when you stay in Zermatt. I love staying in a hotel not ran by a corporate and this hotel ticks all those boxes. Katja and Mario are excellent hoteliers.

Everything about the hotel is excellent. The staff and owners are absolutely amazingly friendly and do everything to make your stay comfortable. The rooms and restaurant are ultra clean and show great pride in small details of decor to meet your needs. It is by far the best place to stay definitely will come back and highly recommend to anyone.

This hotel is a real gem of Diablerets! Many thanks to Francis for his unrivaled hospitality, thanks to which we felt at home. We were given a tour of the whole hotel, shown around and even given the choice of a room (wow!), it was really great! Very clean and comfortable room with a stunning view from the balcony (see the photos attached, 0 filters! :) ). The hotel has a kitchen where we could make ourselves tea or heat up food at any time. Amazing breakfasts, plenty of choice, everything is great! Francis, once again a big thank you!

This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The view was stunning, the room was spacious, and the breakfast was wonderful. The hotel has been recently renovated, so everything felt new and great. It was even better than it looked in the pictures. The owners were incredibly kind and humble, and they even provided us with a shuttle from Grindelwald station to the hotel. There's a bus station right in front of the hotel, which was very convenient. The breakfast was amazing, with fresh milk, vegetables, meat, and bread. I would definitely return to this hotel in the future.

Beautiful hotel and location! We arrived on Monday, which means the restaurant is closed but the hosts still made us some food and it was incredible! Also loved the breakfast. The room was very nice and spacious.

Very friendly personnel, nice establishment and very quiet rooms. Breakfast was extremely good, as if I was home and not being served. Excellent.

Unexpectedly the most incredible hotel and dining experience we’ve probably ever had. We booked villa hundert as the last night after a multi day hike through the mountains and it was perfect. The room was beautiful and it was a great place to unwind. The whole hotel was beautiful, filled with candles and there were lovely communal spaces to enjoy. We went down for dinner and had a delicious cocktail and the first few courses on the terrace beside a wood fire with an incredible view of the mountains as it got dark. When we were ready we went inside to finish the meal. The hosts were so attentive and clearly so passionate about the project. The food was incredible - it was described as a love letter to Switzerland and you could really feel that. The music, the wine, the decor - everything was so beautiful with not a hint of pretension. We slept very soundly. The breakfast was also so thoughtfully done and we asked for scrambled eggs which were delicious and freshly made. I was so impressed by the whole experience, everything was thought through and so much care was given. We didn’t know what to expect when we booked but this was the highlight of our trip. I can’t say enough how highly I would recommend staying here. Thank you Christian, John and Anna. We hope to come back one day soon.

Our second time staying in this relaxed alpine haven! Even better than our first stay. Everyone was lovely, service flawless. Facilities top class. Food delicious. No improvements to be made. Perfect balance of cosy & luxury. We’ll continue to visit & recommend!
