The staff was really helpful. They even had a small beautiful surprise for us (birthday card, balloons,toblerone chocolate), because we traveled to Zurich for the 50th birthday of my husband. It was very clean. A large variety of foods in the breakfast buffet. Next to the old city. The photos that was on booking reservation were exactly the same as the reality, so everything fitted to our expectations.

After staying at the usual suspects in Zurich for my umpteenth visit, I found this gem on booking.com. The place is just like a Wes Anderson set. Loved it. It delighted my local friends who came for coffee. I hardly left the hotel - it was so lovely - and worked all day like a recluse on the terraced balcony of my super spacious room #4 on the second floor.

    Very convenient to visit Zurich (10 mins to the main station by train and trains and 15 mins to Zurich airport by bus/tram). All public means of transport are on-time, reliable, and very often. Shops, restaurants, bakeries - all within a walking distance.

    Wallisellen is a very good destination if you want visit...

    Wallisellen is a very good destination if you want visit Zurich and don´t want to pay for an expensive hotel in center. The connections to the city are very good. The train comes every few minutes. Also the restaurants there are cheaper than in Zurich but the same quality.

    Wallisellen is rather for a non-touristy stay.

    Wallisellen is rather for a non-touristy stay. The highways around and across the place are very nicely developed, as well and the many train trails and bridges. The noise is too stable to be bothering. Shopping centres are there too. Good connection with other parts makes it quite OK though. It should be no more than 20 minutes to get the centriest place in Zurich from anywhere in the area.

    Hotel is located in very green area, bird songs in the morning. I had little balcony in my room and watched the trees every morning. The tram stop is one minute walk and goes directly to the airport as well. Breakfast was heaven. They have very good coffee machine and you can have fresh coffee which you cant expect in a hotel.

    All members of the staff are very kind and helpful. Some of them are even friendly, such as Esther and the Brazilian lady working at the restaurant at breakfast time. It's rather peaceful in the bedroom. Albeit the hotel is by a highway, the building is adequately soundproof and no noise from outside is audible.

    Nice hotel if you are only staying for the night or 2 and going back to Zurich airport. Its near the airport. Basic amenities. No minibar = its just plain vanilla. But you can prepare your own drink at the cafe. Very near a shopping mall (walking distance). Carpark is available but need to pay.
