We opted for staying in Calama for 2 days before heading to San Pedro just for getting used to the dry air and the heights. Geotel is such a great hotel that we regretted not staying longer. It´s an excellent location, close to city center; the apartment is spacious, extremely comfortable, with a practical bathroom and a small kitchen enough for preparing some quick food. The building is totally safe and easy to access. The star is the restaurant: our breakfasts there were excellent, with great coffee, food and tons of options. We had our welcome drinks in the first evening and decide to have dinner in the restaurant. We didn´t regret it because, despite a bit pricy, the buffet presented great quality and tasty food. The hosts were always smiling and attentious, so we really enjoyed our stay.
