Loved this small boutique hotel: perfect position with great view over the town and sea. Quirky and stylish architecture making the most of a challenging space. Great restaurant on the rooftop with some of the best views in town. Room was good value, restaurant was a bit expensive but delicious food and great pisco sours. Staff (Valentina) were very helpful and friendly. Rooms are not big, but that's usual. Made for a relaxing and romantic getaway. Ideally positioned for walking around the most interesting part of town. My favourite stay in Chile and would highly recommend.

The room was beautiful, the bed was confortable and the views over the city and the port were breathtaking. The location was good and quiet, thus a little far from most of the attractions of the city. We enjoyed the breakfast and the garden. The staff went above and beyond to help us.

    We were in Valparaiso for three nights, and we could have...

    We were in Valparaiso for three nights, and we could have spent more time looking over the city. We took a trip around the area in the rental car, and with more time, we could have revisited some of the interesting places we drove through. There is a lot to see along the coast. We found good coffee and tasty food being served at Tallers Cafe, and could have made it our local. We didn't see many of the attractions, as we spent time wandering around the city, looking at the street art.

    Valparaiso is bohemian in a rough way, great to stroll around Cerro Alegre and concepcion for a couple of days. A constant smell of human urine and dog shit. ( not so bad in the 2 Cerros mentioned but the rest ....;(.....the lower part of the city is an example when a city is left to decay. One can only imagine the grandeur ( long gone ) of Valpo 100 years ago.

    They say you love or hate Valparaiso.

    They say you love or hate Valparaiso. The street art and walking is fantastic for those with sturdy hiking legs. You are constantly lost which takes you to surprising new spots. The food and drinks and views from dining terraces is superb

    The highlight of our visit to Valparaiso was a private city...

    The highlight of our visit to Valparaiso was a private city tour by Fernanda (walking_tour_valpo) who spent a very enjoyable three hours with us describing the history and development of this colourful city .... and sharing her extensive and intimate knowledge of the public art that adorns the city.

    Amazing restaurants - best seafood I've had in Chile. Amazing vistas and views! Gritty city with an alternative and artistic vibe - lots of personality. A must see while in Chile - even one night is worth it.

    Beautifully restored, tastefully decorated boutique hotel with ample interior and exterior spaces to relax. Walls adorned with eclectic artwork. Impeccably furnished garden terrace. Breakfast was excellent - best we had in Chile. Plentiful fresh fruit, savoury pastries, scrambled eggs, just squeezed juice and great coffee. Filtered water was provided in the room and available on demand. Great location. Would definitely stay there again.

    The hotel is lovely, it has been decorated with care and a special touch. The owners and the staff are very nice and helpful. They gave us lots of suggestions to visit Valparaíso and to get around. The hospitality is very warm and professional at the same time. Breakfast is excellent, with home made jams, juices, a carrot cake, fruit salad, and many other things. We have enjoyed our stay immensely, thank you!

    What an eclectic & wonderful hotel! Quirky but fantastic - everything worked well and it was a truly magnificent place to stay. The restaurant in the evening was simply brilliant - the set menu and Happy Hour cocktails were the best we’ve had in Chile. Don’t miss out on- book a room.
