This guesthouse absolutely boasts the unbeatable views of Erhai Lake! The room I stayed in featured an oversized floor-to-ceiling window. Lying in bed, I could take in the magnificent panorama of the Cangshan Mountains and Erhai Lake. Waking up to the glittering lake surface in the morning, watching the sunset paint the sky in golden-red hues in the evening, and falling asleep to the gentle lapping of waves at night – this entire experience was incredibly soul-soothing! The manager was exceptionally warm and friendly, offering thoughtful sightseeing advice and assistance (such as helping arrange car rentals and recommending authentic local eateries), making me feel as warmly welcomed as if I were coming home. The room facilities were complete and comfortable, and the bedding was exceptionally comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect, right beside the Erhai Lake Ecological Corridor. Stepping outside, I could immediately go cycling or walking, fully immersing myself in Dali's slow-paced lifestyle. The design is also very stylish – simple, clean, yet still warm and inviting. The terrace in the common area is an ideal spot for relaxing, sipping tea, and gazing at the clouds.

The hotel is brand new and beautifully decorated. The room has a modern vibe, with excellent facilities—spacious, comfortable, and extremely satisfying to stay in. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming. The location is great: peaceful despite being in a lively area, and it's easy to get to various nearby attractions by ride-share service or taxi.

We recently stayed at this delightful B&B, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. The room was cozy, impeccably clean。The location was also ideal, close enough to explore nearby attractions but still peaceful and relaxing. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, which is really convenient. Strongly recommended!

It is a cosy hotel not to be missed if you come to Dali . Staff are extremely friendly and helpful . The bed is clean and comfortable . The Location is Next to the lake yet close to all amenities, quiet and relaxing , also convenient We ordered coffees every morning and to our surprise , it was Melbourne’s quality In summary , we had a great experience in Dali and a memorable stay in this cosy comfortable hostel . The reception staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and speak very good English which is rare even in bigger cities and more expensive hotels, so very unusual that both have excellent English. The reception staff alone make this hotel a solid choice if you don't speak Mandarin and will need help finding your way around or booking cabs, finding restaurants and other places.

Sits just on the edge of the old city. Modern and a lovely open space with bar to relax in. The staff were amazing, especially the young English speaking girl, I was making my way to TLG to hike abd she ordered electrolytes for me, and when my Taxi didn't turn up she ordered another and explained I could miss my train so please could he drive fast! He did, and I made the train. She was amazing.

    We stayed mostly in the ancient city due to the rain.

    We stayed mostly in the ancient city due to the rain. Could not visit the other locations. While in the ancient city, we realised that the mushroom hotpot and BBQ is everywhere, it’s very touristy. Some bakery looks so good but not worth the try. What we really enjoyed more were the small local joints. There’s some exceptional good coffee places along unpopular streets. Which you may find them online. I was there during off peak season, so it was nice, streets were not too crowded. Everywhere in the ancient city Dali, you can explore via foot, just make sure you have a good pair of walking shoes. I do wish to stay longer and explore the less popular streets and enjoy the weather.
