Bed was nice, the staff was very friendly and helpful with giving us directions as to where restaurants are and how to get to the popular tourist attractions such as the Old Street or how to get to the high speed train station. She even mentioned how much it would cost when going by taxi so we wouldn't get scammed. Optional breakfast was very cheap and you can eat as much as you need for only 10 rmb.

Nice and clean rooms with view. Bathroom was great. Very good buffet breakfast. Welcoming staff, which do his best to help even if not english speaking (traduction apps helped ). They are patient and find a solution. An excellent value for money ! Thank you, don’t change anything

Excellent location in the traditional part of the city where artisans, craftspeople and great food choice was right there. A famous location. Great in the early evening. Rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. The manager was helpful with good English. I especially appreciated that she took the initiative to return my glasses when I ( idiotically) left them there.

I was delighted with my stay. The experience of a hotel is obviously different than staying at this traditional house (e.g. colder, less comfy bed etc.) but this only added to the authentic charm. The position is fantastic, as I had my balcony on the high street. Clean environment. Loved the bed warmer. Communication with the host was superb in helping out with getting around the city. Would recommend to everyone. Great breakfast too.

    Very good location, you can see the property from Huangshan North Railway Station entrance and walking 10min to the hotel lobby. I think it definitely a good place to be your transit hotel for your Huangshan Trip. The room is also very spacious and comes with a dressing room. And the breakfast serve different dishes and the quality is better than the Hyatt place I have stayed before.

    Lovely little hotel on the old street, room was very comfortable. Bed was nice and comfy. A bit far from the mountain and the other old towns. The paper hand & bath towels were not very good at drying you off after the shower, other than that the room was very nice.

    The hosts were lovely and really helpful with anything we needed. The space is beautifully furnished and there is an added bonus of 3 resident cats for company! Great location - it was the perfect rest for us after hiking up Huangshan.
