I might be a little biased because I lived on Nantong for six years. This is a great city. The metro will open in a couple of months (September 2022) and this will make city travel even faster. The buses are great and it is very easy and inexpensive to get around via taxi?Didi. The city boasts the first private art museum in China. There has been a great effort to increase green spaces. The city is filled with riverfront parks. There are boat tours and wonderful walks. Two hills with temples and great hiking. The city is very near Shanghai and has an international airport.
