Amazing experience! Room was spacious while still feeling cozy, and outfitted with great decor. Our host was phenomenal, going to the lengths of organising mopeds for us to use around the town, delivering coffee to our room, and giving us discounts on local attractions, not to mention organised transport to and from the train station. Included breakfast was yummy and varied daily. Overall 10/10 hotel.

We had an amazing stay at Li Rive Resort. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Flora and the rest of the staff, who were incredibly helpful, attentive, and always available to assist with anything we needed. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The area around the resort is peaceful and beautiful – perfect for relaxation. We truly felt well taken care of throughout our stay, and we would gladly return. A big thank you to Flora and the team for a fantastic experience!

I can’t get over how gorgeous this hotel is! Positioned along the Ten Mile Gallery and overlooking the Yulong River, it’s surrounded by postcard-perfect scenery. The room was spacious and immaculate, with a ceiling to floor window that let us enjoy the views up close. The staff were wonderful, always ready to assist with river trips or dining recommendations. This hotel has been in operation for over a year and is very enthusiastic and innovative. The female owner and hotel manager can speak excellent English, which is very rare. Many places in Yangshuo are very beautiful, such as the Yulong River and the Ten Mile Gallery. Our favorite place is the one without tickets. After staying for one day, time was tight. The son-in-law of the female boss recommended us to go to a place called "Qianlijianshan tu", which is about 25 kilometers away from Yangshuo County. There is a car to pick us up near the hotel, but only tickets are charged. Places with tickets are not recommended to us. We are very happy to recommend this free place to us. I heard that a place that has just become popular this year has not yet collected tickets. The female boss first recommended it to the two of us. I love the female boss's family too much. After watching the sunset, I returned to the hotel and the owner helped me carpool and stayed overnight in Guilin city because I had to take a plane to another place the next day.

    The view is superb!

    The view is superb! I have never seen anything like this in my life. The locals are kind and ready to help. Very safe to travel by family or alone. It's best to spend a week there and explore the region by renting a local electric scooter . But some point of interests are far apart and required to travel by boat so if you can't be bothered, make sure to have your local tour guide to help.

    Yangshuo is what people think of when they think of Guilin.

    Yangshuo is what people think of when they think of Guilin. It is set in beautiful surroundings, with karst hills, forests and rivers, is full of history and interest and is packed with lively bars and restaurants but has easy access to quieter, rural lanes and villages. Visitors love to dress up in local dress and photograph themselves so there's quite a party atmosphere. I loved it and wished I'd stayed longer than two nights.

    There is a lot to do in Yangshuo.

    There is a lot to do in Yangshuo. Very nice places to see and we can also enjoy some of them using a bike or scooter. Take a cruise on the Li river and enjoy a bamboo boat rafting (quite soft). At nigh don't miss the light show, an amazing event on water with more than 200 artists

    We stayed at Chaoyang village, it is close to Yulong River, which is the quieter side of Yangshuo (compartively). The karst landscape is beautiful and the manual bamboo rafting (not motorised like those at Li River) experience is highly recommended!

    A trip up and down the river (raft or boat) and walking...

    A trip up and down the river (raft or boat) and walking around West street are the highlights, we enjoyed the local park and the . The scenery is very beautiful, but marred by the traffic. We ate in the restaurant at the River-View hotel, very popular with locals and tourists alike. Don't imagine you can get to other towns easily by public transport, the bus station is well outside of town, hence the large numbers of e-scooters in use. The "Yangshuo" train station is actually 34km/21 miles away from Yangshuo, at Xinping, you need to book train tickets a few days in advance, they often sell out. Be aware of the Great Fire-wall of China; all google apps and many more don't work. Most people (and our hotel) used WeChat (instead of WhatsApp), AliPay, and DiDi for taxis- download the apps before you get to China and bring a local sim with you.

    Staying at this hotel near West Street was a treat! It’s perfectly positioned for enjoying Yangshuo’s lively vibe, just a stone’s throw from the action. The staff spoke great English and were so accommodating, helping me with everything from luggage to travel plans. Their warm service made all the difference. The room was spotless and comfortable, and I appreciated how close it was to West Street’s shops and restaurants. This hotel combines convenience with top-notch hospitality—definitely a place I’d return to

    Such a beautiful setting overlooking the stunning karst scenery, also with a pool for some relaxing time. Room was spacious and comfortable with the cutest balcony. A standout were all the lovely staff who were so helpful and kind. They organised a driver for us to take us to Xianggong Hill, bamboo raft ride, tea plantation and tea school which was a great day, as well as a taxi ride to the airport. Laundry service was also great, the cheapest we found in China. Highly recommended for your stay in Yangshuo.

    The staff is amazing, friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is beautiful, the beds confortable and rooms have both A/C and ceiling fan. Many food options available, and two bottles of water every day in the room. Bike included too! Note that the hotel is not in Yangshuo West Street with means a bit more Didi/private car expenses, especially since this is a mountain area. However I came to Yangshuo for the nature so I was happy with this choice not to be in the city!
