We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful—he greeted us with fresh fruit and made us feel very welcome from the start. He also helped us arrange taxis and took the time to explain what to see in the city. Thanks to his recommendations, we truly enjoyed exploring the area. Highly recommended!

I booked here because it is close to both wulinghuan scenic area and zhangjiajie grand canyon. Jack is the man. He was brilliant. He and his brother came and picked me up from the train station, sorted out all of my tickets. Also helped me to buy some new shoes in wulinghuan when mine broke. A really amazing place to stay if you are foreigners visiting the area and need some help with getting around and local expertise. Jack's dad was also a great guy and offered me some tea. My room was great, very spacious with a huge bed and a/c

Just back from a wonderful stay at The Avatar Valley Villas and felt compelled to leave a note. Firstly, the location is absolutely spot-on. Situated nicely between both the Cathedral Gardens and Riverside Abbey, it meant we could enjoy a lovely short stroll to each – incredibly convenient and saved us no end of time. What truly made the difference, however, was the staff. Absolutely first-rate! Before we'd even quite figured out our plans for the day, the concierge (James, I believe?) proactively reached out to check if we needed any help with transport. Not only did they swiftly arrange a very comfortable car for our longer trip out to the hills, but they also helped us map out a sensible itinerary and went the extra mile by pre-booking our timed-entry tickets for both main attractions. Took all the usual faff and queueing stress completely out of the equation! It felt like they genuinely anticipated our needs as tourists. The whole experience was seamless, thanks to their thoughtf

My fiancé and I were blown away by the TWO massive swimming pools surrounded by mountain views - we had romantic midnight swims under the stars! The location is unbeatable: just a 2-min golf cart ride to Zhangjiajie Forest Park entrance (yes, the cart waits for you!). Staff even arranged our hiking routes to avoid crowds. Breakfast noodles and freshly baked croissants were to die for. Already planning our anniversary trip back! P.S. Ask for Room 301 - best private balcony!

We absolutely loved this beautiful boutique hotel. Throughout our stay, we were received with warmth by truly some of the most hospitable hosts we have encountered, and we are seasoned travellers. The owners and staff at this hotel are really wonderful people. They did their utmost to make sure that we were taken care of. We also really enjoyed the food they served, as well as drinking tea while admiring the forest and mountain views from the hotel. Highly recommend for anyone visiting ZJJ. We will always remember our time there.

    I would like to call it the largest, warmest and most welcoming homestay in Zhangjiajie. The environment is so good, Zhangjiajie no other guest house is better than this, we stayed for five days, every day very happy. I will Amway all our friends come to Zhangjiajie to stay here.

    Close proximity to the tourist areas, and nearby restaurants/shops. Jack (hotel owner) is very kind and accommodating. Jack gave some recommendations on where to go, and also helped us to do laundry for our clothes. Very friendly, can speak english well, and easy to approach.

    It is a cozy hotel of a family very kindly gave us all information. Son speaks english and get tickets for us. Father took us to park early morning and to bus station for evening. Mother have very good masaje.
