    Sadly, I was not in the city for long enough to see any attractions this time. I did eat at 2 restaurants in the city with my work colleagues and the food was great. The people in Zhengzhou were friendly and helpful and I felt completely safe there. I look forward to going back and staying longer, so I can see local attractions.

    Zhengzhou is a lively place and great for shopping and street food. You can get great deals at the street markets near the city of Joy plaza, also really tasty food from street vendors. We used here as a base to visit the Yellow River but it is further away from other tourist sites. Would go back for the bargins and the cultural experience - really felt like we were in China!

    1. You can reserve in advance a free shuttle bus to the airport (it takes 15 min). 2. It takes20-min walking from the subway station (with escalator) to the hotel. The nearby rose garden across the street is nice in the spring.
