Zhuhai is convenient to get to and from to Hong Kong and Macau. There are many restaurants in the Charming Ladies Mall next to the hotel. We had four dinners there. The dishes were delicious and inexpensive, especially in the restaurant located next to the entrance to the Immigration/Custom building. I can't remember the restaurant name as it is in Mandarin. It serves great Teochew food like braised goose and beef kuay teow. Best of all the prices are very reasonable. We ate dinner there 3 nights in a row. Don't forget to eat the excellent Portuguese egg tarts in the Mall. You buy 3 and get 1 free for only 18CNY. Zhuhai is bursting with good cheap food (including fresh seafood) from all over China and massage joints. If that’s what you enjoy, you’ll be in paradise. Also right next to border with Macau. But to be honest, it turned out to be the cheapest and at the same time the best hotel I stayed in during my entire trip to China.
