Erika has created a magical space that invites you to breathe in all the nature and actually feel your body relax. We spent the afternoon in the outdoor bathtub watching a rain storm come in and then the sun come back out - it was perfection. I will be returning, especially as she really goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need. Also, make sure to ask her about the mirador!!

I liked the location, the way the whole property looked, the food, the views, the common lounge space. Even though I stayed at the dorm room I did not feel like I needed to wait for a shower or had trouble with facilities. There was common shower gel and shampoo which I felt was a nice touch. The breakfast was amazing, the lunch options were also delicious. I came to Minca after hiking, I was very tired, so for 1 day I just chilled on the day beds, reading and listening to birds.

This place is amazing! So beautiful and everything there is done with so much love. The people are super welcoming, helpful and kind. The nature is beautiful and the view stunning! And the food delicious!! I learned a lot in the permaculture tour and it was super interesting learning about the story of this place. I could keep going and naming all the amazing things but I think the message is already very clear. I loved it!

Had the most fantastic stay at Hotel Hukumeizi. From the amazing food (most of which they grow themselves or source nearby, and you can tell), to the location, surrounded by nature, waterfalls and swimming spots at your doorstep, our stay here was absolute respite! Amazing!, and altar to nature.... Towers are really paradise in heaven, this is the most beautiful experience I had. Thank you to all the staff, Sandra and everyone, were so kind attentive and loving and made this experience better, always caring about your needs. Such a dream!!!! Spa could improve, location, design, dimension, too tight for 2 beds, needs a place where to sit to wait for the masus to come, massage was pretty good. But overall it was an incredibly beautiful experience

    It’s a nice little town with a bunch of activities and places to go and explore, you will also find a lot of interesting characters between the locals and other foreigners that live there, it’s worth of it if you wanna discover more of the northern culture of Colombia and the beautiful spots this area offer.

    Not really what I have been told.

    Not really what I have been told. I was expecting an “hippie vibe place” but more than hippie it is a bit unkept. Try to spend time in nature but avoid the waterfall everyone one goes to. It loses all the magic and silence of the place.

    BEWARE UPPER ACCESS ROAD as shown as only one by GPS Google...

    BEWARE UPPER ACCESS ROAD as shown as only one by GPS Google Maps!!! Scary and if you have any incident you are 2 hours walk away from hotel... who will tell you as they did to us: you should not come here by car, and NOT via Upper Track. Use lower one at La Vittoria.... Food on site is average. Staff correct with no excess of smiles. Room fine - no hot water so better a swim in pool than cold shower 😳 No hiking trails only the access roads Clientele around 30´s with a noisy group on 1st evening

    Lazy Cat Restaurant is a surprising and excellent find. Minca is backpacker 20 something heaven. Lots of green. I suppose there are some great hikes. Once you have seen a bit of the world it can get repetitive. I probably would not go back. 2 days is more than enough (of course depending on your situation and expectations). Yet another good place to meditate and be with nature.

    It was an unforgettable experience walking through nature, seeing the rivers and waterfalls. The variety of birds, the tranquility of being surrounded by so many sounds, breathtaking sunsets. I truly enjoyed the whole experience and place. Will do it again, highly recommended.

    Lovely place to see birds, swim in some waterfalls, have some good coffee and chocolate on farms, get some craft beer. Very hot though— stay hydrated and pack sunscreen. I would recommend this place and advise hiking around to enjoy the nature.

    Loved the views and the sunsets. The food was delicious, fresh and varied. The daily fresh flowers were a wonderful touch. The cuisine used local ingredients and Colombian recipes. The wine selection was limited but excellent. The staff were attentive. The design of the buildings were sympathetic and thoughtfully crafted. Both Pilar and Dani were responsive, kind and knowledgeable. The trip to the waterfall with the coffee plantation was a good adventure - the mules and horses were well cared for.

    An amazing place to stay, I stayed in 3 hotels/hostels in Minca and this was by far the best. Everything was amazing, the staff were brilliant, the food, location for a sunrise hike, the pool but the best thing was obviously the view. It is truly spectacular and I wished I stayed longer. This includes the view from the room.

    Waking by the sound of the bird almost totally in the middle of nature was a very good experience. It was only 20 min by foot from Minca city center, and you easily access to waterfalls and good hikes around the accommodation. Really, my highlight in my Colombian trip
