The location on the river and actually in a small archaeological site were fantastic. Food was very good, staff were friendly and helpful. the bed was very comfortable.

My stay at Blue Dot was incredible. Even though the place is still under construction, my stay was very comfortable. The surroundings are spectacular and a perfect place to relax and unwind on the beautiful river or in one of the comfy hammocks with jungle views. I went on a nice adventure tour to one of the many waterfalls around, and can only give the highest marks for the whole experience. Besides that Daan cooked some very flavourful Vegas distes, and added smoothies of fruit that was freshly picked next to the hostel.

Our host Angela was a true angel !! She didnt only support me through the whole booking and traveling process she also made our stay an unforgettable adventure! From having breakfast with a panoramic view till the snow topped mountains to nights under the starlit sky falling asleep hearing the mysterious jungle sounds. The best hospitality, Jackson & his family made me feel very welcome. It’s close to palomino, only 3k COP to get a mototaxi there. The outside is beautiful, with the little garden. They even offered me a cacao fruit straight off the tree! Thank you!
