Breakfast was delicious with yogurt from the families dairy and a full gallo pinto array. The staff learned our names when we arrived and used them throughout our stay. Also they gave us a complimentary watermelon drink upon arrival that was delicious! The hot springs were wonderful and there were 6 or 7 pools of varying temperatures to enjoy. The views of Volcan Miravailles from the pools are stunning. Clean, quiet, safe, great value for the money, very glad we stayed here!

The most amazing thing was the view in the evening and by day!!! The host was a super amazing dude, he checked on us if everything was okay. And he was so enthousiast. He told us everything what we could do in this region and around the property. He even lead us to a hike trial that not many people know of. It was an absolutly amazing stay! If you are in Costa Rica, you have to spent a night at this house, and probably 2!!

Great rural location. Accommodation is well equpped. Garden is a green oasis. Best accessed by car but can take bus from Loberia and ask bus driver to stop outside Greenhouse Lodge. Ana the host is very helpful. As we didnt have a car, she arranged for a taxi to take us to the local hot springs and also to Upala bus station so that we could then catch bus to La Fortuna.

Great central location to all the attractions as National Park and Springs. Delicious dinner offered by the host (home made) which was the testiest that we ate in Costa Rica for good price. Our stay was an exceptional experience. Roger and Rose were super kind and helpful giving ideas for places to visit, where to eat etc. One of the highlights was the breakfast, every day with fresh fruit juice and varied costarican food. Malekus is located in a stunning location surrounded by nature at its best. Definitively highly recommendable!!

Johnny was the best host that you can imagine. He knows a lot about animals and is very helpful. He recommends nice places where you can do activitys around the area. Especially the night tour and the cacao tour are very nice. The hotel has a small garden with a lots of animals. You can see tucans and frogs around the area. The rooms are nice and clean and the breakfast is very good. This place is definitely an recomendation. It was the nicest place where we have been so far in Costa Rica.
