The hotel is incredible, a great way to thrown yourself and enjoy being in a rainforest with loads of bird life. We found the staff accommodating and helpful whenever we asked for anything. And even when it rains, enjoying the river slide, the hot pools and the bars and restaurants immersed make it worthwhile

An amazing stay in a jungle Oasis. Over 800 species of rainforest trees are planted here, including very rare ones. There are many animals right in front of the lodge and restaurant and on the property, I saw Basilisks, kolibri, many sloths, many kind of birds like the Motmot bird and many frogs like the glass frog. Giovanni and Vanessa were very kind and took me on free tours over the property showing the trees and the animals. It felt like coming home. I would definitely recommend this place.

The place felt brand new and our stay there was incredibly comfortable. Also the hosts were very friendly, I mentioned that I’d love to see a sloth and the next morning they actually pointed me to a sloth in the nearby trees. Also the breakfast was a great surprise and their garden is gorgeous! Loved to have a kitchen area as well.

If you what to try to live in a place surrounded by beautiful nature then this is the place for you. The hosts were so nice and happy to help with what ever you needed. The facilities were very great and clean. A big recommendation from here.

Kind and dedicated professional who truly care for their customers, who feel at home right away, and for their place, and who are also committed to protect local wildlife and maintain the surroundings impeccably. San Rafael is a very special place, sited at a rainforest, which makes it unique. Rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is delicious! Muchas, muchas gracias, Giovanni and Luis.
