The property has a great view over the coastline. Very close to Playa Naranjo harbour and beach. The room was spacious, comfortable, very clean, with all the necessary amenities for cooking and with an amazing terrace with a beautiful view (we spot a lot of birds). Above all, the owners are amazing people, very kind and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and special (fresh and homemade food)

Bird watching here is admirable and in the morning you enjoy the sounds of the monkeys. What impressed me most was the community's commitment to conservation and respect for the environment. There is a genuine effort to preserve this corner of the world for future generations, which is extremely inspiring. The facilities and services at Nicoya Silvestre are excellent. Everything is designed to guarantee a comfortable and pleasant stay, always respecting the natural balance of the place. The staff is friendly and always willing to help, which makes the experience even more special. I highly recommend Nicoya Silvestre to any nature lover and those looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway. It is a place that not only revitalizes the body, but also the soul. Nicoya Silvestre is definitely a hidden treasure that deserves to be discovered and appreciated. The host kindly made us an amazing authentic Costa Rican breakfast and bravely held engaging conversations with us even though we didn't speak Spanish fluently. She showed us her farm and explained Costa Rican culture to us. It was our first night and morning in Costa Rica and it felt more authentic than any where else that we stayed.

Cute, well appointed, brand new cabins as of 2022. Remote, but well stocked with electric hot plate and pot, coffee and coffee maker, and mini fridge. And a nice little pool! Definitely don't recommend driving through Hojancha unless you're up for a fairly bumpy/off-road experience. Instead, go through Santa Rita - same amount of time from Nicoya, but way smoother!
