Brian and his son Mason were very welcoming and lovely people. My mom and I enjoyed ourselves very much at Brisa del Mar, mainly because of the hospitality, the closeness to the beach in combination with a relaxing pool and a nice outdoorkitchen. Would definitely recommend!

What a paradise we discovered WOW !Just a absolutely gorgeous property! The staff is amazing , I notice they all work together, and that's why it works so well ! The owner, Mark, is a hands-on guy. You may find him up a ladder folding towels and greeting guests ! He works very hard to make your experience the best it can be ! It's easy to see ! Breakfast was such a nice touch , and yummy 😋 I can't say enough about the staff , their kind, very welcoming, and so helpful !We stayed in the beautiful 3 bedroom Tucan suite, which was just perfect ! Seeing as we were 2 friends,traveling together, it worked perfectly for us ! Do yourself a favor when you find yourself in Costa Rica again . Check out Mark's place ! I also admire Mark for taking that huge step of leaving Florida to open a beautiful place in Costa Rica 🇨🇷 it all sounds good and fun, but let's face it takes guts !! I will always support people who take chances and toss everything to the universe and look what you get sometimes !!!     it is a surfer beach yet is a very relaxing beach with...

    it is a surfer beach yet is a very relaxing beach with little or no development depending where you parked. You can see some wildlife and occasionally whales jumping far out the coast line. The waves are strong so it is not great for swimming. It is a beach i frequent, i like the vibe of the business around it and if i just want to chill and ease my mind it is a great place.

    Wow, we LOVED it here. It was one of our most favorite hotels in Costa Rica. Marie is such a wonderful person. We instantly felt like home and didn’t even want to leave. The Picknick-Breakfast was phenomenal, an amazing experience. It was really a highlight for us. Everything is just made with so much love and effort. We were so happy to stay there and will never forget our time here. Highly recommend going there if you can! If we come back to Costa Rica, we will definitely come back. 💌

    It is mostly beach bar with 3 rooms. Food (included and not) is delicious. Staff is nice. The beach is superb for surfing. The problem is that you have no privacy except when you hide behind curtains in your room. That is because path to the bar is next to the only window of your room and there is no garden only to the “hotel” guests. It seems ok for staying one night but 3 nights with lack of privacy, noise from road and bar were too much for me.

    Great location to go surfing at playa Hermosa, big rooms, really nice outdoor kitchen area. The pool is 24h accessible. The cherry on the top of the cake was the Ice Bath! Thanks to the owner, Brian, we had the opportunity to try it, hate it at first and then fell in love with it! Thanks for the stay!

    It's a budget hotel in a great location. We had an issue with our room on the first night and were moved to another room the next day immediately without any quibbles or fuss. The pool is lovely, it's a convenient walk to the restaurants nearby. Great value for money, lovely vibe in Playa Hermosa.

    It was amazing! The personnel was friendly and generous, the place was clean, had good wifi and good AC and the beach/restaurant/vibe was amazing. The waves were nice and big and the restaurant was really good. To cap it all out, the view from the hotel was mind blowing.
