Very cosy and secluded place, gorgeous garden, the best food we’ve had in Costa Rica - delicious and gourmet. The staff was very friendly and with great recommendations about attractions in the area. The pool looked good, but it was raining, so we didn’t try it. The room had a small kitchenette and this is the only place in Vista Rica, where we had kettle to make tea- everywhere else only coffee makers .

The villa is located in the countryside and so every moment is filled with fresh air, butterflies and bird song. Sitting in the hot tub looking across the cloud-filled hills is a treat not to be missed. The villa itself was spacious, immaculately clean and had everything you need, thoughtfully provided by the owners, including a dehumidifier, Netflix, a kettle etc. The attractions of Santa Elena and Monteverde are close by and are easily accessible. Communication with the owners was excellent - friendly and helpful throughout. This is a wonderful villa and we highly recommend it.

We arrived at 3pm at the place appeared deserted we looked for 30 minutes trying to figure out how to check in. We finally left so we weren’t on the steep roads after dark.

The property is a little bit out of town which really gives you that mountain feel. The rooms are so unique and the view is just outstanding! The on site Italian restaurant was the best food we had during our one month stay in CR! Water pressure in the shower was insanely good. There isn't really a bad word we can say about this place, I'd give it an 11/10 if I could!

There aren't enough positive adjectives available to describe our stay here. What an amazing facility, everything was just perfect. Staff were amazingly helpful, beds so comfortable, breakfast gorgeous. And the dining experience in the treetop restaurant was divine, definitely worth doing!

We booked last minute due to an issue at another hotel. They were very accomodating, the reception was very warming and friendly and very helpful. The rooms were very clean, large and the location was perfect for our needs. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The morning breakfast was superb. We recommend this without hesitation and would stay there again.

Absolutely breathtaking! Our stay at Hotel Belmar was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the stunning landscape of Monteverde, this hotel boasts the most picturesque location imaginable. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The food was delicious, offering a delightful taste of local cuisine. And oh, the view! Waking up to the breathtaking vistas from our terrace each morning was simply unforgettable. To top it all off, we even had the incredible experience of sharing breakfast with some curious monkeys. Hotel Belmar truly exceeded all expectations and made our time in Monteverde unforgettable. We can’t wait to return!
