We loved the views from the property and the size of the house is great. Very reasonable price for the house and a great location with lots to do within driving distance. We loved the waterfalls and the gardens.

We were very happy to stay at this lovely small hotel with a beautiful garden and friendly hosts 🌸 The spacious, well-kept garden is wonderful, with funny rabbits freely hopping around🥰 Everything is very clean, and the breakfast and dinner were delicious. Such a beautiful and lovely place! The room was incredibly comfortable and spacious, the water pressure was great (which is apparently not so common in Costa Rica…), breakfast was super tasty and rich, the staff was amazing, caring and helpful. But above all, the view was mesmerizing! Highly recommended!!! 💖

Very nice staff who gave me two extra blanketts because of the low temperature that night. The bungalow is very simple but good enough for your needs, with fridge and kitchenutensils and coffee for free.

Interesting place, a perfect point to start a visit to the Volcano Poás, outstanding view from the room, very kind and helpful staff and very good food in the restaurant. Good prices. Little complaint: it was quite cold inside during the night.

    Good roads but narrow as usual thru towns. Different landscape with the farms and greenhouses and coffee plantations in rolling hills. Waterfalls. Loved the drifting clouds coming up the valleys in the evening. Cool evenings and warm days.

    We went to La Paz Waterfall gardens and it was an amazing place. You could easily spend an entire day there. Also the area is known for strawberries. We bought some from a roadside stand and they were delicious.

    Very pleasant highland area stay base with short distances with private car to Poas volcano and La Paz waterfall area. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, some king of personal touch brought to mind old-style country villas in Eastern or Southern Africa - very easy to feel home. Very good birding opportunities on the hotel ground, around the hotel and on the trails. We were sad to leave the place after two nights - it would have been so nice to stay longer.

    This felt like a very special place. Everyone has their own cabin with fire place should you need to warm up. There’s a long walk you can do through the jungle from the hotel which was really nice. The staff were really helpful when it came to getting taxis around, but a lot easier here to have a car.
