We had a great stay. The hotel is lovely, peaceful, and had everything we needed. It was in a quiet area but still very close to everything we wanted to do. It was surprising that there were so many attractions within a 20 minute drive. Even though the hotel was full on one of the nights of our stay, it was still very quiet. We heard people closing their doors but no other noise from the other guests. The staff (especially Asta) was excellent and helped us with everything we needed. Breakfast was simple and delicious. The view was gorgeous. Everything was sparkling clean and new. We had a balcony in our room but it was too cold to sit out there, but in warmer weather it would probably be a really nice place to sit.

I had an amazing experience staying at this apartment. Everything exceeded my expectations. The space was clean, modern, and very well-maintained. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making check-in and communication smooth and stress-free. The apartment was fully equipped with everything I needed – from a comfortable bed and fresh linens to a fully stocked kitchen. Amenities worked perfectly I appreciated the little touches that made it feel like home. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. Our family enjoyed every aspect of our stay at the New Helvetia. We did not realize until we arrived how unique the hotel is. The rich history is showcased in it's social areas that include a full bar, dining area, sitting area and gorgeous terrace overlooking the foothills of the Troodos. The space is full of vintage charm, but also included all the modern ammenities we needed (updated, clean and well eqipped bathroom), air-conditioning, and strong WIFI service. The staff was incredibly knowledgable, friendly and attentive. They truly seemed to love and take pride in this very special place. Go and enjoy!

Superb luxury hotel. This is by far the best hotel in the whole Platres/Troodos area. Our suite was wonderful, with views over the pool. The public rooms were also very good. Location is just 3 minutes walk from Platres centre.

A nice rural setting.

A nice rural setting. At the same time easy access to the Troodos, wineries, the village of Omodos. So a nice retreat after a day exploring. Here is even an adviser pay ground in Platres, but I do not think Our hotel was suitable for children.

So beautiful city but go there only if you have a car + and...

So beautiful city but go there only if you have a car + and if you love nature and mountains more than beaches. On the road to the hotel there is a beautiful big lake. To see the waterfall you should pay 5€😂🤦🏻‍♀️ So no need to spend too much time there. Near that city is winery 😉
