So we were helped at check-in by a lovely young lady by the name of Lucy. She helped the woman on check-in who didn't speak any English. Secure Bike storage was provided in the bowling alley. The initial room was unacceptable due to the bed arrangement but this was rectified quickly and professionally. The new room was much bigger.. Basic but clean. Also it was nice and quiet. There was a fridge but no kettle or coffee. The towel drying rack in the bathroom actually worked really well. Our room was in the same building as the restaurant. Ongoing theme for us, no elevator. There is also a really nice sauna that someone really enjoyed. The initial meeting with the waitress was a challenge. She soon warmed up to us and we experienced a really good meal of local cuisine. Beautiful little village up in the hills. Quite scenic.

First of all: so warm, helpfull and freindly hosts and staff. Amazing people working there! Great location, with stunning view. Room, showerooms and toilets were very clean, with all basic things you need. Showers were limited with time (3 minutes) because of ecological reasons - which we fully support! So for us it was not a problem at all, but maybe for some people may be..? We chose dubleroom with bathroom outside, with the window on the side of the building - the room hasn't got the "main", amazing view, but anyhow the view was cool - just from the other side of Serak. You try to catch a room with main view and bathroom - then you will feel as in the great hotel! Kitchen are serving super-tasty meals and you can choose from many options. Breakfast is ok - with some consummate and sweet options. But you have to hurry up to get what you want if it is crawded. We wanted to check in later and it was not a problem at all!

Beautiful setting in a nice, quiet location with friendly, welcoming staff. Bedroom was nice and spacious, very comfortable with a powerful shower. Breakfast was sufficient to start a day’s activity. And a nice wine selection to finish the day sat outside on the terrace!

    Very nice small village for a weekend trip.

    Very nice small village for a weekend trip. The area is beautiful, surrounded by mountains and tranquil. Tourism business is under development there, so tourist-oriented facilities are few. Perfect place for a romantic stay or in case you are planning to visit a broader area around. Biggest drawback, in my opinion, is related to the restaurants: one restaurant on the central square (open until 8 pm, last order at 7 pm), then a bar a dozen meters away from it (the same opening hours) and restaurant Na Kovarne, located on the other side of the main road (5 min walk from the center), which I liked much more that the one in the center (better food and service), however, also open until 8 pm only. But at that place they agreed to take the order almost at 8 pm and allowed to stay as long as we wished, given the bill is paid.
