Nice guesthouse with a restaurant and its own brewery. Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere; when we visited, there was live music, though this isn’t every weekend. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with good beds and a bathroom; ours had a fridge. Delicious, affordable craft beers and breakfast available. A great base for visiting the Koněpruské caves, Beroun, and Prague!

Location was in the middle of the small village with restaurants and tourist stores within steps away. Restaurant in the hotel was convenient along with a good breakfast. Their restaurant had a daily menu along with standard menu. Very good and reasonable. Bed was so comfortable. Coffee maker in room, good cable tv with news channels in English. Oh ,yes. Staff spoke English. It was very quiet. Never heard anyone up where the rooms were. Stairs only to the rooms. Breakfast was plentiful. You could get cooked eggs freshly made to order. I would definitely return.

    There is a great kavarna in Hostomice called Kafárna and it...

    There is a great kavarna in Hostomice called Kafárna and it seems to be good for most things all day. Two other establishments in town rated 'good' were not serving dinner on a Wednesday, and the excellent micro brewery Pivovar Hostomice doesn't have food, so we ate dinner at Kafárna and it was just what we needed after cycling in from Prague.
