    There are not so many commercial building or facility, but...

    There are not so many commercial building or facility, but nice untouched nature and forest is one of the most beautiful which I have ever seen.We met natural animals on the road which is dear or rabbit, also there are farms which making BIO products too. High reccomend to family trip in all season!

    There is very beautiful nature, and so many nature...

    There is very beautiful nature, and so many nature attraction arond the area. During all season, you can enjoy outdoor activity such as mountain bike, hiking, nordic walk, ski, snowboard and so on. UNESCO mining site is close, so during summer it will be very good experience to go inside of mining cave to explore the history. There is several restaurant and cafe around, also you can daily trip to Germany too. Just for reflesh and enjoy nature world, this place is excellent place.

    Loučná pod Klínovcem is by origin a Ski resort, so you cannot expect a lot when going there in the summer. But we thought wrong, it is not the fully fledged winter eperience, but there are many things to be done during the summer vacations there. Specifically for the Mountainbikers, the Klinovec (or Keilberg in German) is the absolute Eldorado and place to be in central europe when it goes about trail riding. For families there is a lot to be done thre, from climbing park to steam trains, everything is in reach for a day activity. During summer, calculate some driving as some places are pretty far apart or hard to reach without having a car. Shopping, specifically for groceries is not present during summer season, you would have to account to go to the valley in either Ostrov where you can find some hypermarkets from Tesco and Kaufland or the european discounters like Lidl or you would have to go to the german side of the valley in Oberwiesenthal for "shopping". But when accepting and accounting for this, this is a good place to be for an active week of vacation. If you more like the all-in service resort experience, you rather look somewhere else, but for the family or friend groups, this is a great place to be.

    The description of the hotel facilities is very honest, we got exactly what we expected, except that the wi-fi worked everywhere, not only in common area. The staff is very pleasant, caring and friendly, it feels almost like staying with your family. We had the smallest room on the very top, so we didn't hear any other guests when in the room. There is nice view to the ski slope right from the window and it's 5 min drive to the parking under the lift, the ski bus stop is also right across the street.

    Brand New Hotel. Clean, friendly staff, full bar & restaurant inside with authentic Czech food. Nice tiny wellness area as well as indoor sports available. Hotel is 1.5km away from Ski Areal Klinovec, can be easily covered by car. They also have a hotel internal bus, which may take you. We didn't use it since we had no snow. Were hiking in stead, which was fun as well. We're definitely coming back
