Super enjoyed our stay at Pihel apartments. The beds are very comfortable, and overall the house is very well equipped. Around the house you're surrounded by a green scenario, and you can hear the cows far away. Definitely recommend this place and hope to come back one day.

Wonderful apartment with everything you need! These apartments are absolutely perfect — clean, cozy, and fully equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. I really like this hotel, super cosy, the rooms are lovely, brand new, well designed and with wood elements all around the place. Bathroom clean, spacious and functionable. The restaurant downstairs is great, with plenty options and huge cakes and sweets selection. There is even a bakery in the complex, which was also super tasty. Absolute gem!

    Novy Bor is a nice enough small town, but a day is more than enough to see everything as a tourist. It has some places to eat out and a small Tesco in the centre (bigger supermarkets near Crystalex) It is a base for doing walking/cycling, going to nearby places like Sloup v Čechách, Česká Lípa etc.

    I started coming here almost 30 years ago because it was my grandfather’s home town. If you like to learn about and watch glassblowing, this is the place. If you like relaxed hiking without having to pack a lunch, this is the area — through the woods from village to village. It’s only 60 miles from Prague, but a different world, calm and uncrowded. Outside of hotel staff, don’t expect much English, but you’ll get by…

    Really surprised by the local restaurants! The Asian restaurant was a delightful surprise and then a fantastic surprise brunch in the square -totally did not expect that from a small place like Novy Bor!
