Beautifully restored old building in the heart of Alzey. We were almost the only guests and it was very calm and peaceful with birdsong and bells despite being in the centre of the town.

Staff was very accomodating, as we booked last-minute and they checked us in late in the evening. While the app made us book the 2-room suite for 2 adults and a baby since we wouldn't fit on a normal room, the staff was apologetic and they offered courtesy breakfast and a wine. The hotel is in a very cozy old house and they offer great dining and have their own winery which you can visit.

    I returned to this hotel because of the nice "seaside" interior design. Large comfortable rooms with a special athmosphere. Difficult to find however as it is deeply nested into a commercial area outside of Alzey.
