It's a lovely little town with a relaxing Altstadt, on the Rhein and perfect for walks. It's well served by local trains for trips along the Rhein to other places of interest if you don't want to drive everywhere. Beautiful small place with lots to see and do. 30 minutes by train to Basel (Switzerland) or 45 minutes to Schaffhausen (Rheinfall) or just over 1 hour to Lake Konstanz.
