Quaint little town with cosy feel, beautiful architecture and an easy access to hiking trails. Visitors centre can provide with all the equipment necessary for hiking. Lovely quiet town on the Elbe river.
Lovely quiet town on the Elbe river. Well connected with roads, publish transport including river ferries. Plenty to do and excellent excursions fronm the town, eg hiking, mountain biking. Good indoor pool incl. wellness / spa centre. You need to book restaurants for dinner in the high season. And by 9pm its quite quiet, so not a lot of night life!Guest review byMartin RGermany - 10.0

Bad Schandau area has a lot to offer and unfortunately we only spent one night here. I would have liked to stay another2-3 nights to do some hiking and bike riding in the area. I had a very good Thai Massage very close to the hotel. Town is pretty quiet at night with not a big selection for restaurants.Guest review byJuliaUnited States

We were met by a friendly host. He gave us all the necessary information. A pleasant surprise was a tourist card, which gives the right to free travel in local transport, discounts on entertainment services in the city. The area is incredibly beautiful.
