Beautiful hotel located on a hilltop overlooking Heidelberg and next to the cliff railway. Nice large comfortable room, excellent breakfast, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar is a nice place to enjoy a few drinks as well.

We had very great stay here in Europaischer Hof. The hotel staff are very friendly & helpful. It’s first time we take our 2years old daughter travel to Europe, we felt welcomed everywhere. The hotel room are spacious with both modern and classic design. We can enjoy many oil paintings / masterpiece all around. We enjoy the hotel breakfast very well. My little daughter even get a surprise toy from hotel manager. Thanks a lot for everything. We will back some day.

Lovely B&B Type Hotel, run by a friendly owner. Located in very quiet neighboorhood, but close enough to the center. Breakfast was an additional fee (10 Euro / Person) but well worth it. Served high quality ham, cheeze, fruits, etc. as self-service. And... The owner cooks egg, fresh-squeezed orange juice, coffee by your request. Not recommended for party lovers, but if you like to enjoy the quiet lovely "moment" during your stay, HIGHLY recommended! Would love to return to this hotel!

    Beautiful apartment, modern and functional, large open kitchen, dining and living area, perfect for a couple. Separate entrance on ground floor, no stairs to navigate! Enjoyed excellent WI-FI and streaming services. Short walk to Bammental train station, easy 30 min train rides to Heidelberg or Sinsheim. Host Isabelle is gracious and happy to answer any questions.

    very nice stay, the hotel is very clean, the hotel owner and his wife are very friendly and helpful! very good WiFi connection, hot water and warm and spacious rooms. we had a big terrace with a great view. I would recommend visiting the beautiful area and to stay in the hotel.

    Staying at Hotel Elsenztal was reliving a memory for me. They made room for us, even though I had not made a reservation and they had many other guests staying there. The breakfast was wonderful!!!

    The location is perfect for visiting my German cousins in Bammental! Plus it's 100% German. Easy parking. The key pops out of a box if you arrive after hours. It made me laugh.
