Great atmosphere of history, very quiet, nice places for a walk, big parking, location is close to the highway. I booked a small room, but there was everything, the bed is comfortable. The girl on reception was very helpful.

    The apartment is super modern, spacious and very cozy! The sauna is also super cool! The host was very nice and helpful, The location of the apartment is superb - in the old town, not far from the castle and park, restaurants and Edeka are nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and would like to come back soon!

    Very friendly host. Superb view. Unbelievably clean. Beautiful garden. Very comfortable. Great access to the rest of Harz. We travelled with our 5 month old daughter and found there to be more than enough room for all 3 of us. We would definitely return.

    Mrs and Mr Durwen are extremely kind and caring people. The room I rented reflects their sense of warmth and hospitality. Certainly worth the stay if you are in Blankenburg (and do ask about the castle…).

    We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It looks like an old luxury castle. If you like the old style, it is one of the best. The breakfast was also very good. We recommend this place.
