The room was quiet and clean. Beds and sheets were so comfortable that we didn't want to get out of bed! The hotel is easily accessible from the main train station and there are escalators/lifts the whole way so we didn't have to climb any stairs with our luggage.

Decorations inside really impressive, cozy but with a balcony facing inner garden. Location is perfect with Natto supermarket nearby and just 10 mins walk to town center, convient but not noisy. Staffs carry smiles all the time, breakfast is on the top floor, not like normal canteen but more like a lovely afternoon teahouse with unique furnitures. Every set of table has its own style.

    Bonn has not been bombed during WWII, therefore it has the largest well-conserved late 19th century urban area in Germany (Suedstadt). To be mentioned also, the Poppelsdorf Schloss and its wonderful restaurant situated within the Botanical Garden, the Poppelsdorfer Allee and the beautiful Rhine promenade in easy reach.

    Having worked in Bonn for many months in the past, its always lovely to come back to this lovely city! Many local attractions, bars and restaurants within walking distance - I recommend Brauhaus Bonnsch. Alte Zoll (riverside bier garden) and the bars and restaurants near Paulaner.

    We used Bonn as a base to discover the region during Christmas holiday. The Christmas market in Bonn is the most beautiful I have seen. The city itself does not have a lot of sights but is very pleasant with many shops, cafes and restaurants. Make this your base for visits to Cologne and Koblenz.

    Know the town for 30 years - it has dramatically become worser during the last 3-4 years. Dirty, unsecure, bad traffic-connections - you see a down going down! And the people are more and more unfriendly, stressed, depressive - it is a pity, what happens with Bonn.

    We only spent a day in Bonn and we would like to return for exploring the city and the center a bit more. We were positively surprised by the long paths along the river that allow to walk or run for hours.

    Excellent communication from Marion prior to our arrival and super friendly when we got there. Hotel is quite an old building in Bonn but well maintained and decorated, it is very clean all round. We couldn't use the underground car park due to vehicle height but managed to get a park at hotel B&B opposite for a fee (also really helpful people). WiFi very good and lifts to all floors without excessive waits for lift to come. Good recommendations for local restaurants were provided. Good coffee maker in the room and a fridge.

    We stayed here over the weekend, and I think more than us, our French Bulldog Enzo enjoyed the stay and service! He had a special food and water bowl for him in the room arranged by the Hotel. The sweetest thing was the housekeeping even arranged his dog bed that we had brought for him to sleep on when they came to clean the room ( we didn't ask them to do this , so we really thought it was a heartwarming gesture). We are definitely coming back here to stay whenever we come visit Bonn!

    Stayed in Bonn to go to the Anuga show, in Cologne (Cologne is just impossible during the Anuga). The Collegium Leonium is a residence for older people with an area working as hotel It's obviously very quiet, rooms are confortable (also the social areas,( although I spent almost no time there). What was important for me was to be close to the train station and it's just a short walk away - very convenient. It's also not far away from the city centre or the river.
