Buxtehude is one of my favourite towns in Germany.
Buxtehude is one of my favourite towns in Germany. It has a good range of shops including a lovely department store. There are some great restaurants and coffee shops. The Christmas markets are lively with a great atmosphere. The only downside I found this year was that the market has become more food and drink with none of the little nik-nak stalls for getting something as a keepsake or a quality German tree decoration. So the room had a nice view and at night it was calm, despite the main street being close to the hotel. Everything was very clean.
