we had difficulties getting to the Hotel due to Road closures, but when finally arriving the greeting was great. The restaurant served a great dinner. The next morning we had a great Breakfast. This place is highly recommendable.

We flew into Frankfurt 2 nights ago. We were headed to Fuessen to visit the castles and were looking for a midpoint to spend the night due to the late arrival of our flight. We found a hidden gem in the Neue Post. It is located in a picturesque village called Leutershausen. There is an in tact city wall on both sides of the main road. The vies from the main road are postcard worthy.

I loved the Hotel Dorfmühle - a gorgeous property, minutes from Ansbach and walking distance to Thai, Italian, and incredible German food. The breakfast was perfectly suited and the rooms were comfy and well-decorated. I will definitely be back

Very clean and comfortable space. The hosts were just lovely! Very cheerful, friendly and helpful. The location is a quaint little town surrounded by beautiful meadows and the drive to the house was scenic.

I love the scenery and remote location. It was a just away from from the bigger towns. The rooms were exceptionally clean and simple. breakfast was fantastic. It is family run. My booking was for 1 night but due to unforeseen circumstances, I stayed 6. I would definitely stay there again!

If you don't mind going into the hinterland, this is a classy hotel in its price category. Easy to reach using GPS--not that far away.. A gentile breakfast experience. I highly recommend.

    This hotel is an old castle and truly an experience of a lifetime if you want to feel in a fairy tale. The deers running on the surrounding grounds, the landscape, and the surrounding nature can evoke a surreal experience, as much as the haunting details of mounted animals, taxidermy, old dolls in cribs. Highly recommend.

The building itself is a stunning piece of Bavarian heritage, with its centuries-old architecture beautifully preserved, offering a glimpse into the past while providing all the modern comforts you could ask for. Owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, eager to share the fascinating history of the property and the local area.

    The town is lovely, the castle nearby adds to the charm. The premises of the hotel are well kept and pleasant. Unfortunately, there was hunting happening in the vicinity of the hotel during our stay, therefore we could not take a walk in the surrounding woods.
