    Dorfen is a wonderful town.

    Dorfen is a wonderful town. I grew up staying with my Oma summers in this town. There are many things to do and Munich and the Alps are close enough for day trips. The Munich airport is an easy drive.

    Very responsive from the very beginning - I received all the information I needed about late check in when I reached out to the hotel via a message. When we arrived the receptionist was super nice and helpful, passed all necessary info to us and also gave us some parking tips. Our rooms were all clean and tidy, nothing to complain about. Absolutely good value for money. Dorfen itself made a very good impression on us. If we’re ever headed near Munich again - we will definitely come back. We would recommend this place to others as well.

    The hotel is in an older building, but the rooms themselves are modern and spacious. It’s located in a quiet, sleepy town — not much going on. Parking was available on the side street. It’s within a short drive to Therme Erding, so it’s a decent base if you're planning a visit there. Breakfast was pretty basic. Overall, an okay stay.

    There is the small Doreen Christmas market on the hotels doorstep. Walking outside in the evening when I had. It was snowing and people enjoying themselves with beautiful fires and the view of the church tower and the snow dallying it was truly idyllic
