Waldeck is a lovely old town with a beautiful castle/schloss on the hill top overlooking the edersee. The wildtierpark is definitely worth a visit. Only €6 entry and lots to see. The bird show is at 11:00 and 15:00 and very informative with beautiful local birds of prey and owls.
