A good city for shopping trips and the typical restaurants and cafés. A very pleasant, small city and seaport in East Frisia. Of particular interest are the Ostfriesisches Landesmuseum (Brückstraße 1), with detailed local history, and the Kunsthalle (Hinter dem Rahmen 13), with paintings by the German Expressionists and an interesting exhibition on research into the provenance of paintings in the Nannen collection, which forms a large part of the museum's holdings.Guest review byNeil_SpringateUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Was weird with entrance out of common balcony, like in motel, but the room was very good. Staff very helpful. Breakfast with a lot of kind of breads, boiled eggs and scrambled eggs, few kinds of meat and cheeses, cerieals, milk, end much more.
