As visitors to the bi-annual Pferdestarke event, we have stayed at Hotel Zur Burg Sternberg every 2 years since approximately 2010. The buffet style breakfasts and evening meals are delicious. The location is quiet and peaceful. The staff were very friendly and helpful and, as our German isn't brilliant, it was good that some staff spoke excellent English. Special mention to Stella and Stephanie.

Beautiful atmospheric place in a quiet area. Great, very friendly, hospitable and helpful owner. Apartment equipped with everything you need for a long stay. A small terrace is a great addition. Morning coffee tastes much better outside 🙂. Very rural but with beautiful surrounding - amazing garden full of flowers. Nicely decorated inside and outside.

Kids loved their room and the spacious lounge, we had lovely breakfasts and dinners in the dining room and the kitchen had everything we needed. There are shops f9r grocery shopping a short drive away. Location is indeed idyllic and kids noticed how quiet it is up on the hill. Lovely outdoor seating area, even had a bbq. We saw a deer close to the house one morning.

The apartment feels like the house for yourself! Very nice, clean, also has small cute outdoor place to sit for a coffee or else. 🙂 Surrounded by small village and nature. Most likely you will only go to this place by car or other own transportation, so you will be able to reach shops or restaurants if necessary. But just keep in mind that this place is a bit remoted from all the activities.
