Charming city on the Oder river where you can walk across the bridge to Poland and explore its twin town on the Polish side. We have not stayed for long enough to form a reasoned opinion, but the behaviour, demeanour and attitude of the locals we encountered during a walk and food shopping were extremely negative. The city seems depressed. Across the river on the Polish side was much more lively and friendly. In short, I would stay here during a stop over to elsewhere, but there was nothing to make me think I would like to visit for the sake of visiting Frankfurt O Oder.Guest review byTristanNetherlands

The staff were fantasic, nothing was too much trouble for them. I am temporarily disabled and I was given ever possible assistance. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was way above my expectations. The buffet had everything including smoked salmon and caviar to go with the eggs.
