Typical German landhotel; beautiful surroundings, lovely backyard to sit and relax; haven’t heard singing so many birds/ducks for a long time. Authentic architecture. Loved the wooden beams in our room. 45 min by car to Cuxhaven, 1h plus to Hamburg. Good position to explore the region. Delicious breakfast, variety of choices, greater selection of fruits and vegetables than even at bigger hotels, were able to enjoy it in the garden on a beautiful sunny morning.

The apartment was very clean and tidy. It was very well equipped. There is a philips senseo coffee machine and there were available pods to make coffee. Also, a collection of tea bags to choose from. It's one of the rare occasions where the owner has considered what a traveler/visitor would need for a nights stay and provides them. The beds were very comfortable. Check-in was very easy, the same applies to check out. The communication was fast and efficient. We were travelling by motorcycle and although there is a private car parking spot available a few meters down a side road, there is space for a motorcycle right outside the apartment even if the public parking spots are occupied.

It was not the first time, when I booked a budget place. However, the atmosphere, personnel, location and design makes this place exceptional. Perfect not only for a business trip, but also for spending time with friends. I was totally surprised by delicious vegan breakfast, which is not common in Germany.
