We have been travelling down from Aalborg in Denmark using the railways and have spent nights in various locations booking at the last minute, apartments, air B&Bs and camping. This was a bit of a detour from our intended route but we are so glad to have found this place. The area is the most beautiful we have experienced on our trip, with a castle and other historical buildings, I can imagine how this place may have been in days gone by. The apartment is very comfortable, has an excellent bathroom, dining / living room with a solid fuel stove, a kitchen and amazing views across the river and the forested hills beyond. There are many restaurants in the town, just a couple minutes walk down the hill and whilst we cooked our food at the apartment they all looked very good. There is a good supermarket fairly close also. I would highly recommend this place to anyone thinking of staying in the area.

What a wonderful part of Germany to visit. Simply breathtaking views all around. The room was spacious, clean, warm and very comfortable. The place has great access to the town on foot or bike. The host was very pleasant and gave good advice. Would stay here again

Hey there! So, I rolled in on a motorcycle, feeling absolutely knackered. But guess what? Despite the restaurant closing super late, they managed to whip up a delicious pasta and beer feast for me. It was an absolute treat! I can’t thank you enough for being so incredibly kind and generous. On top of that, the room and amenities were top-notch, considering the price. It was a truly memorable experience. Thanks again for everything!
