Lovely breakfast, homemade soft cheese and jam. Rolls, cheeses, fruit, yoghurt etc. We travelled by train and then bus and it is right in the centre of the village. Good fish restaurant a short walk away. Good location for the dark skies park

Ideal for relaxation after a day of exploring. Cleanliness: The level of cleanliness was outstanding. Both the rooms and communal spaces were spotless, reflecting the staff's dedication to maintaining high standards. Affordable Rates: The pricing was more than reasonable, offering excellent value for the quality and facilities provided. This makes it a fantastic choice for budget-conscious travellers without compromising on comfort. Friendly and Helpful Reception: The staff at Villa Rathenow went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. They were polite, attentive, and always ready with helpful recommendations about the local area. Their warm hospitality truly stood out. Accessibility: The villa’s location is incredibly convenient. It’s just a short walk to the local market and within easy reach of the train and bus stations, making it an excellent base for exploring Rathenow and its surroundings. The villa itself, housed in a beautifully restored building from 1910, seamlessly blends historic charm with modern amenities. Lovely pension by the water, managed by a great team - very helpful from booking time to check out. The room is simple but comfy, with a beautiful view on the lake. The breakfast is more than decent, and healthy-ish options are available. Bonus point for the decaf coffee. The pension's restaurant is excellent. You get a huge choice of fresh fish dishes that were all perfectly cooked. There are plenty of nice walks and bike rides around, but think about bringing a card game or two in case the weather gets bad. There's not much to do around if that's the case.
