Beautiful small hotel with only a few suites. Modern structure tastefully decorated without the tacky pseudo-bavarian kitsch. Well located the the castles within walking distance, but away from the crowds. Practical and secure underground garage, linked by lift. Immaculately clean. Very quiet rooms. Excellent breakfast with fresh products. Helpful reception staff, obtaining tickets for castle visits, avoiding queues We appreciated flexible check-in/ check-out times.

We stayed at this hotel as a family. We liked absolutely everything: the room was spacious and clean, the view from the window was of the mountains, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast food was varied. I also want to mention the hotel's location! The hotel is very close to both castles, the lake, and the Bavarian Kings Museum. In front of the hotel, there is a horse-drawn carriage that takes visitors to the castle.

Nice and comfort place to stay. The host is really nice. Breakfast was excellent for us. Not some crazy breakfast, but just nice and simple 😁. I would like to come here again 😁. If you come here, then you can get some nice pictures of the castle if you go out on the grass field on the other side of the road 😁.

Amazing interior design, literally spotless bathroom, great location near center and castles, and one of the most memorable breakfast experiences we've had.     I did not enter any of the castles or museums. I had done that 50 years ago, as a student in Munich. I liked just walking around, soaking up the tourist vibe, predominantly Chinese. I even liked the rainy-sunny mix of weather, so characteristic of the Allgaue region.

    The village is a prime example of a "tourist village".

    The village is a prime example of a "tourist village". Everything closes very early on, you see almost no locals, only hotels and restaurants. In spite of that, it still gives you a nice german feeling and experience, and the whole area is super clean, secure and just dreamy. I suggest everyone to take a bycicle or walk to get around, and try the Schlossbrau restaurant.

    I liked the walk ability to the castles. The tours were just okay- guides to both castles did not speak great English (on the English tour) so it was difficult to get much out of the tours…. But the area is beautiful and you can swim in the lake!

    Central location convenient for visiting the two castles. There is nothing there apart from a series of hotels and a few restaurants. Even so, much more conventient than staying further out and paying for parking etc. For more amenties and activities apart form the castles try Fussen, 15 minutes away

    This city is amazing and the people are so nice.

    This city is amazing and the people are so nice. I had all good experiences during my stay in the area. The Castle Hohenschwangau is worth a visit as well. Most people just go to Neuschwanstein, but please visit the Hohenschwangau Castle as well. Do not eat at the Hotel Muller Bistro quick snack place. The Jumbo hot dog was terrible, and I had an ache in my stomach the rest of the day. Eat at one of the sit down restaurants!

    Woman from reception was completely stressed out wich is unpleasant if you have just traveled so we didn't feel very welcome when checking in. After 17:00 not possible to eat anything. Bad WIFI and breakfast ( no fruit) that was not what you expect fir this price. Rooms did not have insulated walls. Perfect distance from the Neuschwanstein castle ( only 200 meters)

    This is a very nice hotel situated in picturesque area below Neuschwanstein Castle and it is very clean, well maintained. Front desk staff very helpful and friendly.Lovely big room with very comfy bed, separate large bathroom and toilet, mini bar and tea & coffee making facilities. We had a small balcony with fantastic view of the castle. I highly recommend it for its cleanliness, warm and helpful service, view and location.

    Excellent hotel in Hohenschwangau, within walking distance of both castles. Our room was spacious, had comfortable beds, and a nice view of Neuschwanstein Castle. The buffet breakfast was really good and was included in the price of the room. The hotel also had a restaurant where it was possible to have dinner after spending the day visiting the sights or hiking in the area.

    1. The location of the hotel is very close to Neuschwanstein castle. We can manage to walk up to the castle, Marienbrücke bridge and back to the hotel to use breakfast at 9am easily. 2. The lady at receptionist is very friendly and prepare us with the coffee and tea for the breakfast. 3. Parking at the hotel is simple

    The position of the hotel is great, staff were friendly & helpful. Ate in the restaurant in the evening & the food & service were excellent. Our waiter was particularly good. Hotel parking also worked well for us. So close to both castles & it was lovely to have a walk in the evening when the tourists had left.

    Location is unbeatable, parking is OK, but the distance to the hotel entrance, with bags is a challenge. Breakfast was frugal but OK. Very silent at night and we were able to go around the castle when nobody is around with great sights
