We arrived late due to roadwork related traffic jams. Our arrival time was past the official reception hours. We called and let the hotel know and they assured us there was no issue with checking in late. When we did arrive, the kitchen was officially closed, but the amazing staff arranged pizza from the kitchen for us. That was such a wonderful gesture. Many other chain hotels would not provide food past official hours. The hotel is also dog friendly, and a water bowl was provided for our dog almost immediately, which was really thoughtful. In total we met 5 different staff members from the evening to the morning (we stayed one night as we were transiting) and they were all, without fail, so friendly, professional, accommodating. The quality of the breakfast was also really impressive. The scrambled eggs were perfect. Usually hotel scrambled eggs on a buffet can be rubbery, watery, etc. These were honestly delicious. We cannot thank the staff enough for being so exceptional. Will definitely stay here again if we are driving past Leipzig. Would 100% recommend this hotel to all readers considering it! Oh, and the water pressure in shower was amazing.

This was our first time here, but I hope it won't be our last. We were warmly greeted on arrival after our walk from the station in pouring rain. We revived immediately. The room is spacious and cozy. The shower is ALSO spacious, with a rainshower and hand-held shower head. The breakfast is amazing for 12 Euro. All the usual and more plus each day the hot offering has included a vegetarian treat: cauliflower with cheese, then spinach, peppers and onions with cheese, and today broccoli and potatoes with cheese. I can't wait to see what we get tomorrow! The staff was so kind about helping us book another night when the train drivers went on strike during our visit here. And they printed out the Deutsche Bahn forms I needed for refunding the seat reservations on the canceled train. P.S.: The hotel is just .7 miles down the street from the Halloween Factory store and Chocolate Museum!

I rated only 10 because I can't give 12. Great hotel. Got uograded ti the suite because it was my wife's birthday. Very big room, very big bed. Very very coimfortable. Large shower. Will defenitly come back on our next trip. If you want great vacation, stay in this hotel
