It's a fantastic place to stay! We will repeat as soon as possible. Amazing. So many little details in the room and also at breakfast. We enjoyed a lot our stay at Anitas Altstadtpension. Wonderful, peaceful, friendly sanctuary. Beautiful location on the bank of the river. Rooms are lovely and very clean. The restoration of the building is of very high quality with great attention to detail. Wifi is super fast. There are beautiful walks around the area, all the way to the neighbouring town Kelheim. There is even a ferryman who takes you to the other side of the river for 2 euros! Resturant has excellent food and is well priced in my opinion. There is a brewery in the monastery and the Barock Dunkel beer is particularly delicious. When coming back from my walk, a monk stopped and helped us with directions, very friendly and so nice. I originally booked two nights but ended up staying for three.

    One of the few hotels offering a true family room, with two separate rooms together, one of which has a very small kitchen. Breakfast was really great. I like the idea of not having the room cleaned every day: it is better for the environment and allows to put focus on what really matters, the cleaning in between different guests.

    The hotel has a nostalgic 90s vibe, which adds a unique charm to the stay. Despite the retro atmosphere, everything was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious, which made our stay even more pleasant. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the surrounding area.
