I was absolutely delighted with my stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any request. The accommodations were comfortable and clean, creating a pleasant home-like atmosphere. I also appreciate the beautiful surroundings and the family atmosphere of the entire hotel. Altstadt Hotel Baunachshof is, as its name suggests, in the old town and a great location for sightseeing in that area of Wertheim, walking up to the castle, or strolling the short distance to the confluence of the Tauber and Main rivers. The spotless room was remarkably well equipped and designed to be practical, seeming larger than its size. It has good lighting, a spacious bathroom with good shower, fridge, table and two chairs. When we failed to spot the QR code on the room card for Wifi, I asked via booking.com and the hotel team rapidly explained. The parking garage is very close and reasonably priced at EUR5 for a day. We opted out of the breakfast and popped round the corner to a super bakery (Bäckerei Frischmuth) for a lighter breakfast.
